Exclude the Attitude

Recently I found I had to make a pretty difficult decision to exclude someone from my current circle of friends or family. I used the word current, because it’s hopefully not a permanent choice.

There are events in our life that can really define us. Our decisions will have a direct impact on our life. A catalyst is what I’m implying. A single event from your life can make you better or bitter. Some may not agree with me, but I’ll say it’s a choice whether the bad decision makes you either better or bitter, is your choice alone. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m not saying that no bad experience happens. I’m simply saying that when it does actually happen, then you have the power to learn from it or grow a seed of black negativity. That seed you plant then continues to be fertilized by more less than positive thoughts. This will continue until you have grown a full garden or in some cases, a full forest of black negativity. It quite literally will consume you.

So, I’ll come back to my original notion. I’ve had to accept that currently there’s a person in my life that has embraced a dark and bitter life. If has left him full of paranoia. He had become a totally pessimistic and cynical person.

We have to remember that if we leave that person in our life then we can gradually become just as bitter. Cast aside the bad for the greater good. Look at the big picture here. Very hopefully, that person will do some personal development and cone back into your life.
